Marin Jazz Performing Arts Organization is A 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Organization. EIN 82-3111687 formed for the purpose of advancing the performance, education, and creative spirit of the musical art form known as jazz.

 

In order to keep the artistic level and appreciation alive for future generations, and in furtherance of this charitable and educational purpose, this Corporation shall:
     
    (A) Produce residencies and music concerts with performance based live music where artists can express and share their gifts with Marin County audiences as fundraising concerts benefiting Children's After School Programs. 

    (B) Support school educators in their work that furthers the purpose of the Corporation through performances, after school workshops, masterclasses, recordings and research initiatives.

     (C) Develop local music and theatre after school programs; hiring Teachers for programs throughout Marin County also providing Scholarships to kids and families that need assistance. 

 

At Marin Jazz we believe that education is one of the most important building blocks for children and are committed to broadening and expanding learning and music opportunities through the delivery of Arts.                     

Our program is called " Future Stars" and we at currently providing after school kids programs at Lucas Valley, Glenwood, Vallecito in San Rafael and Novato elementary schools.   These programs are intended to encourage dialogue and inclusiveness to young people as well as the entire community in a safe environment that sparks creativity.
